Edencrest at Adel is recruiting for a Cook/Culinary Assistant! In this role you will be responsible for the excellence of the dining experience at their community. This individual also participates as a member of a team who assists with the operations of the dining room, kitchen, and interactions with residents, families, and staff in coordination of the dining experience. Current Openings: Part-Time 4pm-8pm

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Cook/Culinary Assistant:

  • Basic understanding of menus, recipes, and preferences of regulatory requirements and individual preferences.
  • Clean, maintain and ensure that dishes, kitchen, and all equipment are sanitary and in good working order.
  • Manage the dining room, atmosphere, and overall experience.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess a passion for great food preparation, taste, and presentation.
  • Demonstrates a high aptitude for food and kitchen management.
