Lifeguards
The Adel Family Aquatic Center is always looking for certified lifeguards to guard and teach swim lessons. For more information on how or where to get certified, contact Ramona Dillinger, the Aquatics Supervisor, at rdillinger@adeliowa.gov. Must be at least 15 years old to get certified. City of AdelRecreation Site Supervisor
Oversee various parks and recreation activities like youth baseball/softball and adult volleyball/softball. Duties include set-up, record scores, supervise activity, and tear-down. Must be at least 18 years old. Starting pay is $18.00/hour.
City of AdelYouth Softball Umpires
Games are played from Mid-May through Mid-June. Must be at least 15 years old and have knowledge of the game. Pay is $45.00 + DOE (Dependent On Education)/game.
City of AdelParks Maintenance
Help maintain the city parks and facilities throughout the spring/summer season. Duties include mowing, weed-eating, basic maintenance of buildings and machinery and other duties as assigned. Must be at least 16 years old. Starting pay is $16.00/hour.
